Strat and vox amp, not the best combi for GnR rock tone...

If single coil probably even harder...

You need to change a lot more things than just a pedal mod...

oo yeah im also trying to find some gnr tones, but also using the fender 60th anniversary strat... so i was thinking of selling to get a lp... and posted in the buy/sell forum few days back, then after that decided not to sell again.. so im very confused now lol... shud i jus sell it?

keep the fender and save money to buy a new LP.best of both worlds

strats are way too bright for gnr. vox's have too much clean headroom too (assuming you use an ac30 or 15)

tip..i oso gt a 60 anni strat...u use the neck p-up and den cut the tone knob..add a little touch of reverb and if u gt amp wid eq, do this bass(low):9 treble(high):5.5 mid 3...its for clean clean tone..dist use
high(treble) & low(Bass):7 mid 4.5 gain 9...itll sound lyk sweet child of mine..i found out after a month of testing...n its the closest i can get..

hah get seymour duncan alnico pro 2s. they get you sound much closer to his sound

aiyah, just enlarge the cavities and block the middle one with a custom pickguard, get a H H strat can do GnR already lor!
