which means 600plus for discount is 20%... so juz add another 30% off to u, i guess u can do yr maths.... that will be yr ans :)

subversion: thanks for the tip.

I saw this dude buying a black RGT, well there are only black RGTs. roflmao

I drooled and thought I'd check it out next time. Couldn't find the SZ320 there, but saw an Z520. and some other RGs.

I don't think I'd need a baritone, I don't tune lower than a drop B, so I don't thiNK i'd need it.

btw, will a fixed-bridge be limiting? I heard a floyd allows more extreme bends. I don't really use the floyd now, and I am not a real whammy-fan.

Should I go for an RGT?

ehh sub..
I din know that swee lee carries ErnieBall/MusicMan guitars ... thought only Sinamex carries it ...

they currently don't. these are leftovers from the final batch of guitars they had (late 90s) & are virtually untouched- AXIS sport.

the RGT42 is an impressive guitar for the $$$ & it provides immaculate upper fret acccess due to the through-body construction. however, it's a vibrato equipped guitar & needs (balance) adjustments if you tune down. the other point to note here is that this guitar features a finished neck rear, similar to the Epi/ Gibson version.

BUYING AMPS

friends, if you are intending to purchase amps during the sale, please ensure the following comes with the package to avoid subsequent visits:

*power plug- if it's detached from the amp, try to plug it in to see if it fits

*footswitch (if any)- look up the model on the manufacturer's website, make sure you get the exact footswitch, if it's within your means, print a pic of it & bring it along to show to the sales personnel. NOTE: sometimes, the amp comes with a footswitch feature but it doesn't mean the footswitch itself is a standard feature.

*instruction manual: at times, there are specific instructions to adhere to which are only specified in the manual, this is especially true if you are dealing with 'bigger' wattage amp/ tube amps.

BUYING GUITARS

*for vibrato bridge guitars: you should receive a complementary set of accessories which includes: a vibrato/ trem bar, allen wrenches (for bridge saddle/ action adjustments), spare vibrato springs (if any, some manufacturers don't provide these). i've never come across a vibrato bridge guitar without these accessories, in most cases, if you don't receive them, the sales personnels had forgotten to give you, please understand that they are very busy people during the sale- ask politely.

for Fender/ Ibanez guitars- the above-mentioned accessories are packaged in sealed plastic pouches. enquier only if these are tempered with, if they are not, then do not open the package to avoid unneccesary loss of components.

*for guitars with complementary hard cases- the vibrato accessories (if any) are in there, if you don't see them, again, ask politely. also, make sure the keys to your hardcase are provided. same goes for guitars with complementary bags (eg: Fender Highway1 series), make sure the accessories pack are in there.

*for fixed bridge guitars: the least you should receive, is a wrench for truss rod adjustment. you should receive only one. refer to the examples in the following pic:

**if this is your first guitar, chances are, you need a cable to connect it to your amp...
