SL SALE 310508: Guitar talk

Hi all,

This is my first swee lee sale so i got a question.

Are the prices stated online the original price?Example; if it is 500SGD online then during the sale should be 250SGD?

Actually I think the online store prices are discounted. Like the Epi SG prophecy custom EX is listed as $1112.80 online but the price when i went down yesterday was almost $1.4k.

i received this alert from Swee Lee moments ago (thanks Joe!): the online prices are NOT list prices, these are strictly online promo prices. if you need to know the list figures, it's stated in SOFT's product review (if available) or, it's just a phone call away

if you are looking forward to the SALE for a no-frills guitar which is highly affordable yet not compromising on quality, CORT's M-200 gets my vote (please note the new headstock design WEF 2007, the one depicted on swee lee's online store is the former design but there are no differences in tonal quality/ tone- i've played both versions):

i believe there is a good camp of Epi Goth series guitars. i managed to try the LP/ SG/ Explorer today & must say that the Explorer is the best among the 3. it's a very full sounding guitar & has more impressive sustain, the LP being the bench mark when it comes to this matter. the guitar in whole is a well made piece but the satin finish is acquired taste.

it's also a pity that the latest Gibson Slash LP is tagged as a NETT price ($5K) because if it isn't & it's subject to the SALE disct, it's easily one of the worthy LPs to invest in. never mind the endorser's inclinations, the instrument per se is very impressive in terms of build, fit & finish. i particulalrly like the tones on offer maybe because i'm a Seymour Duncan fan & the Alnico II Pro made their presence heard in this guitar. if you have the ca$h to spare- why not?

hey subversion bro i think the pgm3 picture at the front maybe alittle misleading as the pgm 3 have a wammy bridge and rosewood fretboard instead of a fixed bridge and a maple fretboard in the first post

will be dropping by tomorrow... hopefully they will do some restock and stuff so i can have a wider range of guitars to choose from :D

you're right; that's the PGM301

Hey i heard the Ibanez Jem7vwh in the glass room was going for only like 1.6k after discount??!!?!?!? same for the pgm301. is this true?

Jem7 was listed at $5350. $2600+ would make more sense. The PGM was about $3300. 1.6 for it was more appropriate.
