GOD created other creatures (besides human) for a reason...
I can't eat pork, i can't 'touch' dogs but i've been and don't mind people who eats pork chop next to me and even gave food to stray doggie before. It's a matter of your life principle as a sane, civilised human being created by the same ONE. Let us all do without the killing of dog owners,castration,breaking cat's limbs,etc comments eh? It'll just reflect back on one's character (upbringing,influences,education,etc).
As long as the animals don't endanger your lives, their peepoo or poopee is a big deal??? My cats although toilet-trained sometimes do have 'accidents'. With water,soap and pet-pee odour spray, problem solved in a jiff. I don't break a sweat, my life's not shorten by a day & i'm still a handsome man with killer guitar chops and can drum better than Portnoy,haha. I wonder if i'm un-civilised, i must've killed more than 30 cats lah. Even human with brains also crap & pee in their pants! Thousands of people (esp sick, senior citizens) have control problems where they'll also soil their beds,furniture,etc. Yeah, let's just kill all this poor people then, woohoo?!? Anyone to start the petition?

The actual problem is the one highlighted by gsonique. Punish the offenders by making them lick clean their own pee. If it's already dried up, ask them to pee again same spot in the lift/landing, then lick it clean. Usually they are drunkards so it's not gross...yum yum, apple juice or 1819 French sparkling white wine? Bottoms up people and take the chill pill...
