This is a pre-S1 switch model so it doesn't have the contoured heel or the SCN pickups as well. Not much of an issue to me anyway.

that is true. otherwise your biggest issue would be wiring that guitar. the s1 wiring does seem a little intimidating.

I don't think the S1 switch was much of a success actually, i think fender removed them not too long ago right?

Never really liked pearloid pickguard and if I did, I would have to change my decal to "Even Not So Custom 60s mode"
