i visited kampong siglap mosque during hari raya haji together wif my southeast CDC frens(and that includes jeremyrozario as well) to witness the slaughtering of cattle ritual 2 years back.although for first timers , the moment u see blood coming from the throat of the animal u'll feel like fainting but i guess there's a significant reason on why they do this ritual during haji mainly because the meat from these cattle would be evenly distributed to the poor and needy muslim in the community.

i have to admit that the moment i saw the slaughtering taking place together wif the chanting of islamic rites , i started to freak out and i'm the type of person who belongs to the faint hearted....

anyways this was my experience of seeing the slaughtering ritual taking place at the mosque on haji.....

the same thing applies to Roman Catholism.our non catholic friends would probably react the same way as i did when i entered a mosque.if they ever stepped into a catholic church and see the cruxifix the at even most of them would wonder why we catholics worship a dead man who is hanging on the cross wif nails stuck to his palms and feet.so we catholics are a bunch of sadistic babarians because we love to look at a figure of a man hanging on the cross half dead? it all boils down to the context of religion and i hope the people from other religions would learn to respect and tolerate other people's religion....

singapore is a multi racial society , so let's help by sustaining this dream of his which he has worked so hard for to make it happen....

but I think you are missing the point.

It doesn't matter where the chicken was reared and where it was killed.

All that matters is, by patronizing KFC, consumers are contributing indirectly to the brutality that is inflicted on KFC chicken.
