Ordering a single 0.60 string

that's because we live in sunny singapore and shipping from US is extremely expensive.

the other altnerative is to use vpostusa.

USD$5.95 for local US shipping, and plus another SG$5 for vpostusa.

(*Note : for every "order" you make on vpostusa, there is a base charge of SG$10).

oldmanbochi, sorry, i haven't tried ordering from just strings.com either. (i saw the link in another forum)

I know this might not be relevant much.. but if just needing the .60 gauge.

I have seen combo shop at plaza sing having the Z.wylde GHS set with .60 in it.

If needing it urgently, just buy the whole set and use only the .60 one. Shud be cheaper than shipping. If if, need it urgently i mean.. :D

Yeap, I know about the ZW set, but GHS sounds bad.

Its not urgent for me, just looking to get a nice supply of .60 stirngs for my 7621. .54 tuned to low A isn't working well, need .60. :(

Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless. :D

last time davis got this 7 strings set with .58 for thickest. Either ghs or another brand. I gotten those to use on semi hollow guitar. But they stopped bringing in after a while

That might take a little longer than what "not urgent" would dictate. :P a couple of months? hahaha...

You may be surprised. I got a box of 13's within a month. Good enough for my B tuned baritone. GHS though..

DYM 013 017 DY26 DY36 DY44 DY56

Bu if GHS is good enough for Zakk, its good enough for anyone!

I had bad experiences with heavy tops....just that you gotta have a solid built axe to take the load...anywayz its got lots of chunky meat tho....GHHAAJJHHENNGGG

Got 7 stirng set for 10 - 60 lah, but its too heavy a guage for my fingers. They literally start bleeding after a while. I tried. Ugh. And I can't do somethings I like to do, especially with regards to bends and vibrato.

And I used to cheat, get a REALLY heavy .12/.13 6-stirng set and then buy an extra string? But it was of a brand i didn't like... tonewise and feel...

Haha... Goose, its a 7 string lah. :P The .60 is tuned to low A. An octave lower than our 5th stirng A. That tuning makes more sense than Standard B tuning.

his lowest bottom still pretty light for theee bottom, master! He's a cat!

donch tune to E lah bro! to low to be useful!

B tuning works best! I chugga with the baritone tele + bigmuff!

B tuning with a 27 fret guitar is uber-er insane-er.

You get low and you got enough high range....

I so want a Tagima K1/T-Zero or a Caparison Horus/Apple Horn.

haha... perhaps so.... 27 fret, super strat, Ibanez Edge, H-S config. Something like that. If they do such things or have experience doign such designs why not?

Oooo... ESP Grassroots has a nice 27 fretter too, pity its too glammed up, looks more like a model than a player guitar.

I'm sure if you can specifically tell them what you want and maybe supply them with the parts you may get what you want!
