Got the link to HCFX? I've never been there but I'm guessing it's Harmony Central FX forum yes? Visited it but couldn't find the sales section...

Ok are we going way off topic here?

one more off topic Q then: Anyone knows if rondomusic's pedalcases are good?

Just get this:

You're pretty much there...

Rem, the whole setup counts!

Cow, i think its too small for my prefered wattage. Plus epiphone amps are hard to come by in most places. The controls are too simple as well, i might need to buy lots of add on pedals to make it versatile. 8)

Well! The main question is, is it loud enough for you? :P That baby has been cranked to the MAX already, has an attenuator there to lower the speaker volume, and just has 1 Fulltone OCD (a marshall vibed drive pedal, moderate gain) pushing it.

As what you mentioned, you use pedals to get to some of the sounds you want to achieve, so ...

Oh yeah... the Epi Valve Jr head is what, $250 @ Swee Lee? Lots of dough left for pedals... hehehe..

Well, i prefer the tone of the amp, only "some" songs which requires higher distortion will be supplemented by pedals. The valve jr. doesnt sounds way better than my current crap amp.

Less is more is the case here.

I HEARD from a friend who I do trust his ears quite a bit...

That the AC15 with the alnico blues are pretty pretty good sounding. 1K++ lor... alternatively can get the AC15 with the warferdale speakers for less.

AC15... yum yum.....

i rove the ac30 i tried at city moosik. suprisingly i liked the warfdale better than the alnico blue, must hang out there more.
