well, ok i have a similiar experience. but my is fingers not voicebox.

i used to play piano, and my elder sis would tell me " shut up la damn noisy"
my younger sis would say " ayee i watching tv la, cannt hear la"
my mum would " you cannt play piano with passion, always cannt complete finish a full song"
my dad would " now what time already? the neighbours need to sleep and you still bang on the piano so hard!" (which is rubbish, he blasts his own music two times louder than my piano)

luckily i didnt give up. and now my mum is like " ok next time u play like this when i invite my friends over" ( but wtf, no way). + public +ve comments

ok anw my point is dont give up. just tahan all the way and ull reap yr rewards!

My mum says I suck at singing... but I think I'm good.

How do I convince her I'm good, or at least, not suck?
She never have any choir training
never take singing lessons
so I think she is not the best judge.
But she is my mother so I cannot take her go climb coconut tree and knock her head.
