Ibanez LU20 Mass Order

heh, it someone build a tuner with additional circuit like a super clean booster that double as buffer, will it sell?

how about a zvex superhardon in a tuner?

i dont understand the skeptism, when a pedal maker says
true bypass. Is it because of the shape of the footswitch?
If it is I think its pretty myopic.

All your illustrations refer to a senario whereby a cheapskate pedal maker uses an SPDT switch to switch only the output. I think that is plain suicide for Ibanez.

I got irritated enough by the speculations enough to be compelled to
open up my tuner. and cool, they do really neat shielding for clock chip from the in/output board. My final say is that it is true bypass. Believe me or not, I can't help you otherwise.

And I don't wish to tell you guys how cos its more fun that way. Go buy one!
A clue I can give you is that its a latching switch, but no doubt a physical one.

I highly doubt anyone will bring the pedal down for a surgical
inspection. LoL, if you guys are curious enough go help ironickel out
at the other thread.

Skepticism is because there have been countless untrue claims in the past by countless major manufacturers.

Dunlop/MXR regularly refers to their bypass as "electronic true bypass".

Hughes & Kettner - "The sophisticated hardware bypass ensures the instrument signal remains 100% unaffected in the bypass position"

Marshall calls theirs "passive bypass"

Maxon advertised their Nine series as true bypass, and was proven to not be. However, they did change their system to real true bypass later on.

The Korg DT10 was once touted as being true bypass too.

I still haven't seen the insides of the Planetwaves tuner either, which I very much doubt is true bypassed.

Just as I doubt any pedal with a glowing tube actually has a glowing tube.

I don't see any harm being skeptical.

heh, and the led lighting bulb for tube aint just behringer as shown in the pic. Vox cooltron series of pedals took it further with a cool blue led..
