how you guys deal with people who disrepect the music you play and listen??

Well in this forum itself theres r some forummers criticizing certain genre...
like when i state i listen to deathcore n metalcore..... it seems they r very rebellious abt that ideal.... i do to listen black metal n sometimes i do listen funk like Tower of power... for me i dun realli care.... i jus appreciate all rock to punk to metal music genre cause its best explained as form of relaxation for me....

the techno music lover hates metal music coz too noisy.
the metal head hates techno coz can cause headache n its not heavy music
the mats n minahs who loves reggaeton hates house,trance songs coz dun understand
it will go on n on n on n on...
just use headphones. if u open heavy metal music loudly beside me, i will tell u off too coz its noisy. breach of peace.

This has got to do with personal character rather just music. If one's character is full of love and respect for fellow 'anything', one will be at ease with himself and 'everything' around.
But when one clinch on to something too dearly, pain will arise from attachment.
Basically, if you love all music, you will not be worried about others not liking your music.
But if you only love 'your' music, then you will experience pain when others not like your music.
Look for the good thing to love and not the bad thing to dislike.

knn in the morning when i go to camp listening to stuff like all that remains, annihilator, as i lay dying, bullet and trivium, there will always be a platoon of friends in the barracks telling me i am a devout follower of satan cuz i listen this kind of music.
and honestly, they can go screw themselves.
don't ever give a damn about whatever they say about you and the stuff you like. you are yourself, and nobody can change you. let them call you or say whatever they like, you dont have to care at all. in fact i do strongly believe that bitches like 'em are actually JEALOUS of you making music like this because they are envious of what you do and want to take you out of it to be into what kind of music and trends they are into themselves. doesn't have to be music alone, it applies to every aspect, even to your own lifestyle. if you feel what you are playing or listening to is pleasurable, hey man, why bother, honestly...

What do I care anyways.. For every 1 person who comments about the music I listen to, there'll be another 10 behind me listening to the same stuff!
But I do notice these comments come more often that not when I used to listen to metal..
