- maple, for variation since my other guits have rosewood

American teles are going for no less than 2K at Swee Lee. Maybe that's why you can't get a good one at $700 guys unless there's something wrong with it. :roll:

I conclude from the responses so far that it's not feasible to bring in 2nd hand American teles for sales here, given the disparity in expectations with regards to price.

anyways, I'd opt out for the highway one. just get the AVRI tele! seriously. i think its a worthwhile investment..

if my cij can sound so sweet on so many levels, what more an AVRI?
