Dude.. You're listing BRAND NAMES.. not MODELS.. which is more important..
Once you've narrowed down the MODEL of the pickup, you have to take note of the WOOD of your guitar..
Then there is the issue of the AMPLIFIER you're using, no point having a Xiphos going through a Fender Pro Jr eh?
As always, please respect other softies by doing your research before you post..

yeah like harrisonyeo says.do an upgrade on the amp.get like a high gain amp plus your guitar must be quite kickass.

I assume that you go to jamming studios? if you do, it will be better to upgrade your pups 1st unless you wanna lug your amp down to the studio with you. But i'm not disagreeing with dime and harrisonyeo. an amp upgrade would be better unless you go to jamming studios that is....

meh

but for my playing, which amp brand, model ??tube amp??and what is the reasonable WATTage for playing at home...at least i can start saving for amp first...

Yeah. Do not change for the sake of just changing. And what you listed are just brands of pickups, not the model names.

What you can do is, tell the people here what you don't like about your current sound.

ok...Anyone knows the price of 100 watts amp maybe MARSHALL??if first hand.....Sorry if im abit lazy to go down peninsula to chk :)

I'm no guitarist, but I echo the sentiments of most of the people here. I'm getting this "my friends say my gears are no good so I want to upgrade cos they told me to upgrade it" vibe from your first post. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you want to sound as close to a7x, find out about the gears they use and work on your budget from that (though it is definitely gonna cost you more that 300 bucks).

Otherwise, really sit down with your guitar and pedal and amp, listen and take note what isit that you don't like about the tone: Isit lacking in warmth? Too bright? Not enough crunch or low ends? From there you can find out how to improve it. Every brand would have different models that can sound differently from the other (and I am not talking about pickups alone). It is up to you to find out which one does what, and measure it in accordance to your budget and application.

(Need I also remind you that, if you like how A7X guitar sounds like in their cd, a bulk of credit should also go to the equipments they use to RECORD and MIX the sound. So there's actually more to it then what the guitar can do.)

Anyway, a more direct answer to your question would be: Change your amp. THEN change your pickups. And consider changing your pedal.

2 cents.

A tube 100watt?!! Man, that's crazy. Sorry, but do you how powerful a 100-watt tube or not amplifier is? You can't even go past level volume 1 at home without your mom screaming at yer. then again..i dun think you can hear her even.

My opinion/suggestion is get a 30 watt.( Pretty good with your tight budget) A marshall 30 watt..im not too sure how much. Im guessing, 300-400, a safe bet. The MG series might suit you for its crunch. ( Hey,.i like the MG series :) ] (and i think it's overdrive kicks your behringer UM's a$$ too)

So yea, it's an amp upgrade for me.

(and yes, please do a more in-depth research so we could narrow down the choices for you)
