I tried using my fingers to dust it off at sweelee and attempted to rub it off with cloth. But I'm sure this isn't any kind of powder / dust.

Tried using some sort of alcohol-based cleaner? If I get a tough stain from eg. Stickers/ Price Tags on my guitar/pedals, I usually take alcohol swab and just clean it. Some may disagree here. But guitar-wise only for SOME guitars.

Sub: Yep, cleared my Epi already. I'm true Strat man but I also am a fan of other styles that Fender does like Teles, Jazzmasters etc :)
J.custom: Thanks :)

Using the alcohol based cleaner will damage the paint, most likely to sand the f-hole down before repainting.
Or just spray paint on the blemished f-hole

If rubbing alcohol had any negative side effects to the paint on guitars, I would have stopped using it a long, long time ago.

That stuff may be a little too strong but then again, haven't tried those yet. Yeah I guess you can use cotton or tissue paper that's folded up. But as a word of caution use sparingly first, just in case.

Anyone has a guitar with a 2 point trem loaded with a tremol-no? Thinking of getting one for my Sterling Silo 30!
