GRGM- the list price is my major discontent with the guitar. it otherwise feels great & sounds very decent. if the price is reflective of the Gios' pricing in time to come, then it's very unreasonable IMO.

AGB140 bass- i'm not a big fan of singlecut designed instruments, but this one is very resonant, has to be one of the crispiest sounding, humbucking bass i've ever played. the neck is rather thin & broad, compared to Ibanez's SR models.

i did- not too keen on a floating vibrato equipped Fender though... 8) BUT my next guitarw will be:

1.Fender
2.Gibson

i believe he meant that it doesn't add anything to the tone or the function of the guitar. just an aesthetic thing, which tone purists abhor, of course.

*Neck- 3pc set-in design/ bound
*Body- Mahogany/ Quilted maple top/ bound
*Pickups- Seymour Duncan IBZ (N/B)
*Tuners- Sperzels
*Bridge- Gibraltar3
*1 X Vol

the initial release of these guitars are in limited quantity (100pc world-wide) & distributor privileged, so we won't see it available off the shelf any time soon. the fact that it could be acquired for less than SGD1K implies that it's Korean. looks exclusive but personally, the stars fretboard markers & body inlay is a big turn-off...
