Eh? I never knew PRS so murah(Cheap) ... I just know the soapbar one quite cheap ...

the SE offerings are meant to be affordable.

all SE models are made in Korea by World Music Factory.

That looks like a sweet tuner to put on the pedal board.

I think the SE quite good buy, last time I tried SE, they had a relatively good feel and finish. It's not a 'PRS' PRS, but sure has their mark of approval all over it. Nice new models man. Single cut might be a contender for the sub-1K LP copy if the tone is similar.

yeah that tuner looks sweet. i might just get it next week :P

well that's ironic.

in the other thread you said you're trying to sell all your pedals so you have money to feed yourself through the holidays, and here you say you wanna buy a strobe tuner pedal

Now's that pretty hilarious.

And hey, why are you selling your Randolf-modded Ds-1 under the nick of Xetc? Not Crozzfire anymore?

MrE:i mean as in IF i had the money to feed myself after selling my effect pedals and have some spare cash money left, i might juz jolly well buy tt tuner cuz my tuner is pretty crappy..looks sweet..

Phil:well, i didnt post an ad for selling my randolfed ds1..that pedal would be the last pedal i'll get rid of..but im selling all my efect pedals and only keeping a tuenr, amp and one guitar..

the Singlecut SE tone isn't a Les Paul tone per se. many people would perceive it as such due to its singecut nature hence an inevitable LP tone- not this one. if you are after a deep, singular, bass-inclined LP copy, try Burny/ Tokai. this singlecut does have a pronounced bass response but it has that much needed midrange sting often missing in guitars of an LP nature.

The planet wave tuner's 'strobe' function is highly questionable. In what way would it be useful? It is totally different from the strobostomp's high resolution display. It's like comparing a ruler to a venier caliper.

It looks like it can be some fun to use but exactly as useful then the normal tuning mode.

Please enlighten.

the strobe function has better application for intonation settings. for normal tuning, the strobe module is excessive, more so for stage applications. it isn't a 'better' option but a true measure of accuracy for those of us who are particular about our bridge saddles adjustments.
