Yamaha RGX A2 (revolutionary design)

_M_rgxa2.jpg

Saw this light-weight beauty at Yamaha Plaza Sing the other day. 8O
It was displayed on the racks, on the window glass side.
I carefully squeezed my way into the narrow walk path, grabbed it, squad down with my butt pushing against the glass, and bend some strings.
Didn't have time to test it out with an amp.
Being unconventional in its body materials, it may not be well received.

Read all about it here:

no. the inlays are not weird at all. early models (particularly collectors ones) had them. for eg., hoshino 90th anniversary models. all been to singapore probably 10 years ago, back to the times when swee lee got an outlet at ngee ann city.

younger rockers may not be awared of this.

mid-life players will surely remember the swee lee outlet @ Plaza Singapura, where they display the latest Guitar World mag at the entrance. was not even $12...

hehe... back then i wasnt into guitars as much, so i guess my memory only latched on to the kinky graphic on the guitar.

i remember paying 5-6 bucks for Guitar World/Player and pop myself at McD with a cup of nice thick chocolate milkshake after that.

Who can forget that outlet? :D Inside is like an alley of guitars man and that's where I get my GW too. They always have a pile on them floor I remember. I didn't buy any milkshakes but I always end up visiting the 2 CD shops on the same corridor as swee lee then I'll go upstairs to Yamaha to browse through all the tab books.

hahaha.... all the old folks are coming out.

I've been told that they have REISSUED    the NOS RELIC'ED VIRTUAL VINTAGE MILKSHAKE! yay!

I HEARD that Lido McD got. I'm gonna grab one soon after buying GW from Borders just for old time sake. :D

I've stopped eating McD for years and stopped reading GW for years.

I remember hanging out outside peninsular hotel there long ago, when the "uncle" in Davis was a small boy playing at the playground nearby.

.

The Reissued Milkshakes are not as tasteful as the RELIC milkshakes of yesteryear.

Its no longer as thick, over sweetened and its up by 80 cents.

And I don't think a NOS milkshake will be good too... 8O
