Really took a long time to decide whether to zhng guitar. Finally gave in though was reluctant to do so.

Switched to pw locking tuners. Really works well and no drilling required during installation. In fact i did it myself. Very easy inclusive of changing strings and tuning up all under an hour. You can see how neat everything is.

The gold saddle is a shadow piezo saddle. The second switch selects between electric and piezo and allows u to blend both for a uniqe sound (second position). Piezo and switch installed by g77 and anthony. Really a great job done.

Had to rewire pots. Now its master electric vol and tone. Master piezo vol.

Future works:

Want to add a gold tonepro tailpiece. Fed up of having the tailpiece fall off every time strings are changed. Also considering having a custom painted pickguard

shioks, how are those tuners? read some reviews that its made of plastic n that it keeps cutting the strings unintentionally..i'm looking to get locking tuners coz my the g string on my gibson sg standard can't stay in tune... :roll:

It works very well. So gd in fact im considering installing them on my accoustic as well. Seriously beats leaving slack and turning many rounds around the post. Also it cuts the excess for u, nothing could be simpler.

Just don't forget to lock the string in place before turning the posts.

btw, does the lack of one screw at the back(judging frm ur pic) affect the stability of the tuners in anyway?

itchy_go, no problems. we've already said it works. now go and buy a set and tell us it works fine. :wink:

All modern tuners use only 1 screw. Its only the vintage types that comes with 2 screws.
