its very chunky

not much gain though

good for classic rock tones.

but i cant really crank it.

i need an attenuator

my peavey xxx is like 3 times softer than the marshall

and the peavey is 60watts

BUT. on a serious note, if you're going for the deville, try to land youself one of the mainstay pedals that are ALWAYS talked about over the TGP.

Hydesg: Try pushing the amp with a od/clean booster pedal in front. It works wonders. I don't think the amp comes with a efx loop, right? But if it does, an EQ pedal will be very useful.
