does it really make much of a difference tonally? as in nitro and poly. with a few colourful overdrives or modulations on your board i doubt you could hear an audible difference..
actually poly chips, so if any dents it'll look bad.
also harder to touch up to make any dents / chips invisible.
whereas with nitro, any touchup work is easily done as the lacquer just melts in.
also both nitro and poly are hazardous to health
eg. fenders uses poly, and they have a limit on how many guitars they can spray in the US.
thats why they have those tex-mex series and highway ones, where the guitars are sprayed in mexico then brought back to US for final assembly.
erm..isn't the fender 1962' a guitarist guitar? i saw he use that in tv...same as his...chips off the same place...neck e same...everything the same...u bought his guitar?
