Speaking of modern bands covering a classic, here is a video of Foo Fighters covering Stairway to Heaven. It is far from perfect, but they did it out of good humour. Would you guys object to what Dave Grohl has done as well?

guess lep zed wasnt as brewtal as metale band, so other form of covering is ok. I mean, when there a band naming themself after led zepplin, as in Dread zeppelin, nothing can get worst

brewtal metale is true metale that never death and can never be insulted in any other form unless it is more brewtal and evil than originnal version. According to hardcore brewtal metal supporters, it seem, if you have lotsa female fans and play lighter song than brewtal matal, its already a crime. And to play brewtal metal songs, it is like insult to their brewtal mind of brewtal metal music, thus dont feel good.

If the video title were to be of some unknown band, i bet most of the replies would be that it was a decent cover.
Majority of the comments are probably negative just because metal is such a niche market such that pantera/metal fans are scared that their sacred 'hardcore' genre is getting invaded by 'emo kids' that metal fans would never want to be associated with.

My personal opinion? I actually think that was a decent cover.

i wonder why everyone is covering this song though, from disturbed to a7x and now FOB.
