Seriously, what's wrong with you people. Whats wrong with people having some fun doing some covers. Sure, they might be a mainstream band making more than enough money that can support you and your family several lifetimes, but that doesnt mean they cant cover a metal song. I like pantera alot. I have only watched one fallout boy video. I see nothing wrong with this video for such immature comments by some of you. So what if it is a bad cover, some of you also perform covers and make a fool out of yourselves on stage, so whats the big deal? And what is wrong with metal going mainstream? You like metal because its good music or because its so "underground" and cool?

The problem is that you guys are sell-outs, wanting to make metal so ''mainstream'' and trying to make metal a cool trend.
what is wrong with metal going mainstream you say? well lets see.... i guess Metal IS SUPPOSED TO STAY UNDERGROUND?!?! It has been underground from the start, but at times like these i guess its becoming more mainstream huh?
The question now is, what is wrong with you? What do you 'people' succeed in making metal mainstream? What? you get paid or get publicity or something?
We didnt do anything to you guys so why do you have to attack us like this?
If you like any kinds of genre of music i am fine with it, i know electrico's singer likes the band Mayhem, and i have nothing against it. Just stop trying to publicize it.
Local bands doing this is guess its ok, coz most of them did it personally. but getting fu cked up bands which are so big and famous like fall out fags will get everyone of their fans goddamn attention and sooner or later they'll just follow their footsteps for the sake of it, coz its cool right?
And for all of you Metal heads reading this , i salute you!

Say, one of our local bands became very big and famous, well-known in many other countries, and they covered one of the your favourite 'underground' songs to this huge mainstream crowd.

lousy band, even lousy cover. i got nothing against this emo genre, but stay away from metal. yeah and prolly none of them there know what song it is.
Pantera were legendary, and so are their songs. I hate it when bands like these do covers, or some bands talk about their influences being patera, old school metallica, sabbath and whatever. And then they turn out to be some core or emo band. disgrace.
But having said that, peace and love everybody!

and some of the fob members used to be in hardcore punk and hardcore bands.
like the drummer...used to play for m.s a hardcore band.

its not about getting famous, and then doing an underground cover or whatever. if like Ossuary or even Rudra or Bhelliom gets damn famous and whatever I'll be super proud, but heck if they do get famous while staying true to their roots, then why not? Mastodon is getting famous, but never betrayed. Pantera at one point were hugely famous, Megadeth is famous as ever, Cannibal Corpse sells relatively well and are famous. But yeah. Its about trying to be what you're not, as extremely well displayed by FOB
