If I get a guitar with gold plated hardware, I'll make sure the gold wears off in 24 hours 'coz I'll be rubbing it constantly, lol...

If I remember correctly I got it for around 650ish.
I don't recall seeling the standard G-400s. Though there was a Emily the Strange issue.

This is aside from the topic but...

On the issue of gold hardware, I know that for Ibanez, their gold hardware is not durable, it tarnishes too easily. A weak finish.

So, do the other companies have better gold plating/coating/finishing?
