Boutique Gear: When did you fall for them?

Most of us here will say it's cos it's a boutique pedal. Then if we like we'll add our OPINION on the quality.

Metasonix butt probe.

Only 100 were made and sold for about US$450 each. The makers themselves said they used the crappiest tubes they could find as I recall.

ist't it wonderful if only people only go by getting effect, playing effect to how each individual like how it sounds like instead of going into boutique/non boutique or even starting a topic talkingabout boutique

butt probe rocks coz it isn't meant for guitar signal processing in the first place...
 
I've heard the butt probe before... its only for certain select individuals... ;)

methinks its a total waste of money! :lol:

eh dunwan la hahaha, other than the DE7 in my board....i wouldn't think of changing any other boxes here.

I've just embarked on saving between 150 to 250 a month, Mesa Stiletto here I come!
 
Lifehouse: dunno yet man, either ebay or neighbouring countries. Either a Deuce or Ace, depends on the price and my budget :evil:

the cmatmods deelay sounds nice if you are not into huge spacey kind of delay. 8)

I wonder, can randolf mod the Ibanez DE7 to have an adjustable level of reverb for its echo? Its default level is too much IMO, easily muds up, and you can't control it, you have to lower/raise the entire echo volume.
