Knocked a Tonefactor Analogue Filter on evilbay! :D

hey man you gotta post some clips once you get your hands on it, i'm always open to more gear acquisition ideas :P

Hey MrE, aye, I'll post a clip. :) I dunno, been going funky these few days. Okay, months. Stopped recording but started practicing a lot of syncopated stuff. I wonder how this Analogue Filter will be like. With the OC-2.

Lifehouse, aye. Its time lah. Hopefully the family will be supportive. Will prob get some enclosure, plexiglass or something.

Right now, thinking of 1 more OD pedal. But no idea yet.

Got the cash to grab a good wah now.

Need a clean booster for solos, the demeter is going.

Hehe. I looking at Lovepedal Eternity. Probably looking used if I can.

Anyway, don't think need enclosure for the Goblin. Play in 5 watts mode. :smt003

5 watts sounded different, duh, i prefer the 15 watt mode.. But will see. :)

Running the Blackstone into a tube amp = wow. Pedal that doesn't sound like a pedal. Priceless.

Eternity eh? Expensive stuff, running on op amps. How abt that Fulltone Fulldrive MOSFET edition? :)

Shred selling Hellbilly to get Goblin?

yeah i saw that this afternoon... damn tempted leh, but i just spent quite a bit on pedals so gotta hold back

bet its gone by now, eh cow?

and you're getting ANOTHER OD pedal? i thought the blackstone is your holy grail liao... wat next? 8O

heh, if u intend to offload your skreddy... let me know

Nope! :)

Its Singapore, who splurges on pedals!? :P

Eh, MrE, maybe you not satisfied with your Blackstar... eh eh... swap loh. :P

This Hellbilly is more of a booster role IMO. Well, if you interested, pm me lah, we work out something. ;)

The Blackstone is holy grail to me, but its nice to boost it for a nice overdrivey tone... but i'm still thinking.. I mean, that BS has 2 channels you know?

Offload the skreddy? Nay! Haha... its got a unique sound and very touch sensitive. Granted, its sounds slightly more pedal like than the BS but you can't have EVERYTHING can you?

Want to splurge also no money liaoz la haha...
Sometimes dunno whether to feel happy or sad to play guitar. First started playing PC games, then gave up cos upgrading every six months is not viable.

Then play guitar...thought, eh one accoustic should do it, then one electric came. Then more followed... :P

Then gear...I dun need to say lah, you should know gear is like wat, esp boutique. Was a multi-fx user, but cannot take the sampled sound, so blew my pocket money on a Keeley DS1, then TS808, then.... At this rate die la, then there's still all the fulltone stuff and more... :(

Eh shredcow, just looking at this forum, got so many pple buying boutique stuff haha, singaporeans not dat bad at buying power sia.

So many? Its just a few. :)

How do you feel about the Keeley stuff? Overhyped? Overpriced? Or solid stuff?

haha... then by that logic, i think that TCJ Gristle King is floating around still.... ooh the GAS.... let's see what happens when i get my blackstar and the flying tomato fuzz hehe

skreddy soundclips on the site i dig.... will consider that in future.

It depends how you look at it la... however it is true that they do sound a lot better than stock (I dunno about the original mojo jap ones though, but they should). I mean when you use high grade components, with better tolerances, chances are you get a more refined signal.

Honestly, if you can upgrade yourself, dunneed Keeley la. Ok just realised that is an obvious statement, but if know how to get your components and use some of the schematics on the web, its do-able la and thus I think Keeley is a little bit expensive for what it is. It's not as if he built everything from scratch (like maybe the Keeley compressor, but thats debatable too). I'm quite impressed with the hybrid Ds-1 which blueark had done la, that super multiple switching pedal, haha, not for sale sadly.

And you really do need a good (tube amp) for the Keeley to shine. Alone, its distortion still sounds like unmod, just more smoother. And as most of you do, it becomes good as a booster (so why not just get a nice clean booster? hmm...). Ya but I think if you hate the ds-1 sound from the start, you might want to try some other pedal. If you love it, then the ds-1 is way better modded. In fact I think not modding it is a crime. Haha.

The one I made is cramped like hell. The tube is held in place by sponge and the components are squeezed together. Don't think the standard is high enough to sell. If I can figure out a cheap and easy way to fit the tube into a pedal I'll definitely consider making more :D

Coolz. Will look forward to it. Haha, who knows, next time "Keeley" will be replaced by our local "Blueark". heh. I think your existing prototype is a great way to showcase the difference in mod types. Pple who haven't visited blueark's website should check it out now!

Sponge ah...hardcore la. haha.
