Yeah, it's going fine thanks very much! In fact, I'm very very close to having the finalized date for the outing. I will be having band practice sometime this weekend so I can't be sure wether to have it on a saturday or a sunday.

And I'll scratch Henderson Bridges since the guy go and recce until dunno go where, so chances are that it will be either Hong Lim Speakers Corner or Esplanade.

Really, stay tuned, I'm not kidding you guys. Things just got in the way for me.

I wanna join too!! have lots of things to learn, oh ya anyone can teach me some theory too? lol, I got this book I bought from justinguitar, according to justin , he says its possible to memorise the fretboard in 2 weeks or so but I can't do it.. , epecially when I switch guitars in between acoustic and classical..

what do u mean memorize fretboard? know which note are at where? i dont think there's a need to actually. just understand the note sequence is enough. anyway, acoustic and classical and electric, the fretboard is the same, no? doesnt make any difference.

Dude, maybe you could take the lead this time? Would love to organize this one but unfortunately I have night class, so yeah, try it out like I did at the CityLink Underground Passage.

But what I observed from the first gathering it would be imperative to try and think of a suitable activity, something like you guys learning songs together as what that was suggested by one of the newbies. Cuz it would be just strumming guitars and being bored otherwise.

lol what i would suggest is, for those who are gonna attend the next session, the organiser("mentor/s") can give a song for the attendees to learn. then on the session can share and point out mistakes and tips about going through the song.
