Hi and thank you for your interest!
I will be finalizing the date, time and location by either the end of this week or weekend so don't worry about it, cuz I will try to have an available slot for most of us. Watch this space for more updates! I can guarantee it will be fun and we'll all be friends =)
*UPDATE* Hey guys, my friend from our old school volunteered (..no lah I actually dragged him down lol) to be taking pics and video-ing to increase S.O.F.Tie and hopefully publicity awareness of this gathering.

Hi crapsh1t!
I myself will be sharing and showing some of my aspects of playing the acoustic guitar ie. some basic finger picking patterns, basic and alternate chords, using a capo tatatata. This will be during the first few minutes.
But since this is also a dialogue session, most of the time I will be expecting you guys to ask me questions and any help you need in playing the guitar. You see, I do believe everyone has a particular style and I want to help them develop that instead of just copying me. So it will be best if you can like prepare a bunch of questions you desire to ask me on the day itself.
I wouldn't say this will be in particular an acoustic guitar session, this is just a guitar gathering for those who are new to the instrument and need help in playing it. There's no particular genre I won't focus on so it's totally okay if you know nuts about acoustic. This is for you to get to know your instrument well.

I do understand that there are some people here who live at the far ends of this country, so for now there will be a possibility of our gathering relocating to Hong Lim Speaker's Corner, which should be the centrally located since it's in Outram. But really, future meet-ups will depend on the first one. So guys, if you want this to happen often, its up to you to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Bomb me and my team of volunteers with a motherload of questions and queries, cuz it's your show man. If I'm not wrong this happened once but there wasn't much progress so yeah, I do expect more input from you guys.

esplanad outside there around evening to night could be an ideal place too!! , haha! , i just went to restring my acoustic guitar today and use the lemon oil on the fretboard then went somewhere outside esplanad beside the merlion , practice a bit of chords with another friend. , Quite windy at night!

Lol, what a coincidence! Except that I restrung my electric with Dimebag DR's and they're awesome.
Nice suggestion there, in fact I was also considering Esplanade for our gathering. But I don't intend to have it at night though, have to at least get some family time with right?
Yeap. And hey, it's almost the end of this week! I'll be getting gannie to report back from his recce at Henderson and when it's all good we'll have it there, or else at Hong Lim.
I will be finalizing everything by Saturday. And when the TS is back (she should be back by now), we will have our gathering.
