ahh, only 30 bands made it for the auditions. Guess gotta Indie. Anywayy all the best to the bands that made it! =)

Well, indie bands are slightly easier on the ear for the general public. Besides, there are way too many emo/pop punk/screamo/*insert your fave genre*-core bands around, it makes you harder to stand out amongst your peers unless you are really goot lah...

What I heard is that 70 - 80% of the submissions were emo/pop punk/screamo/*insert your fave genre*-core bands.

And what I heard as well is that they are cutting back on that genre this year.

Maybe it's time to play psychedelic dangdut to be really unique...
