Baybeats 08! awesome man.... looking forward to see "The Oslo Castaways".

Yeah, this year's Baybeats has no buzz at all.
Went down to Esplanade yesterday.
They only have a very small programme for this event.
Pocket-sized which is handy but no write-ups on event or bands.

Rain will be a real damper. But the new outdoor venue is NICE.

yeah.... gotta agree wif ya... i just went down yesterday and realized baybeats is this week! Perhaps they could advertise much more to create more awareness

Of all the years I've been to Baybeats, this has to be the year that I'm least excited about.
No insult to the bands playing of course. I've managed to see a lot of them over the years and some of them are surely my favourites!

It's just that the general buzz, or lack thereof, is kind of disheartening. If our biggest indie festival has seemed to slide under the radar (Some of the local scene friends I have didn't even know it was this week!) that's a sad sign.

yes somehow there's a lack of buzz. it's always a bad thing if the biggest music festival in Singapore doesn't get the crowd and buzz it commands.

I didn't know that baybeats 08 was this weekend til my friend mentioned it on monday. haha. despite the lack of publicity, I'm quite revved up for it, actually.

we've got wet weather this morning I hope the sky will be drained of rainclouds asap. please let it be clear tomorrow!

will be going with a bunch of friends for tomorrow's performances all the best guys!
