1. Who composed the first line?
2. If i complete the song and decide to use the song for my own personal or commercial reasons, is it okay?
3. Do i have to credit the composer (who composed the first line)?
I thought 6th March is the deadline?
i think even someone already completed, he/she will wait till 6Mar then summit. Just in case he/she wanna change/improve something...
Depends on individuals I guess. I find that sometimes overproducing takes out the rawness and honesty of the track.
It's hard for a person to judge what is good or bad about his own track, and I guess sometimes we take might take out things which actually sound great.
Eric Claption for example hates his solo on Crossroads. He can't stand listening to it at all, because he actually got lost and played on another beat when he thought it was the '1'. But so many clapton fans hail that solo as one of the greatest ever. Go figure.
This thread seems awfully quiet. I hope it's because everyone is hard at work making something cool with the melody 8)
Ah... I haven;t done anything.... Partly because I really want to work with a 7 string on my next song and I could not get the RG7621 earlier. Oh well...
