Anyone digs Synyster Gates?

Hey there,not dissing you or anything,but i don't jump on any ol' shredder on MTV.I've watched John Petrucci,Steve Vai,Joe Satriani,Kirk Hammett,Richie Sambora,Jimmy Page,Dave Mustaine,Marty Friedman,Michael Paget,hell even JerryC,these are all great guitarists,timeless guitarists.

But none of them touched me like Synyster Gates did.Get whut i mean?

and may i know how he touched you?

one thing bout all the geetarers mentioned, they fit in the context of the music they are playing. Interchanged them, perhaps it wont be nice anymore and prolly no one would take note of them.

More than often, when we talk about geetarers, we tend to overlook the music they are making, in general.

True.. More often than not, we use the WRONG words to describe their music as well..

Let's look here.. "Soul", "impeccable" aren't proper words to describe Sysnter..

Neither is "robotic" a proper word for Petrucci.. He plays fast melodically, when it's slow it is with feeling, just cause he plays fast more often nowadays, doesn't mean he is robotic..

our favourite guitarist differ from 1 to the other.

if synester likes synester ( lol) for wat ever reason and he's firm to it despite all those "temptation" to change his mindset about how good synester is, then synester(gates) should feel accomplished, for he ( gates) has 1 royal fan/admirer. and we should all applaud him for standing up for what he believes in.

Okay,one day i wuz this 15-year-old listening to The Click Five and stuff like that,then my friend told me,"hey!why not try Avenged Sevenfold?They're great!"i said yes.and when i first heard Bat Country's solo,i was like "oh my god this guy is someone else!"

Then i compared him with the other guitarists i mentioned,and still i liked Synyster best,because i just like his playing,for no particular reason.

LOL.The guy is Synyster Gates.My name is Synester,i edited from Synyster's name.Hell yeah i'm a diehard fan of Synyster,and that's not gonna change.And thank you for your applause.it was real nice of you to say such things.

Basically let me sum it up for you guys. There are many good guitarists out there. And, Synyster Gates can be considered one of the newer generation guitarists as he looks up to older generation guitarists (according to wiki).

And, there is no such thing as he is better than this guy and that guy. Eg. comparing slash to hendrix. It depends on what style of music you like.

So all in all, when you state your opinion, at the end of the sentence just say "IMO" or something. At least it won't make it look as if you're trying to convince the whole world that A is better than B or C.

Well...i WAS asking if anyone likes Synyster Gates,look at the title!i didn't say if one didn't like him and quote other guitarists at me and presto,it becomes a Jimi Hendrix/Slash/John Petrucci/Whutever guitarist there is.then it becomes a opinion war.so i asked everybody to just state whether they like Syn or not.

See,i wanted to know if anybody likes Synyster Gates,yes/no,and their reasons why.I don't want people to go something like,"I dun like Syn.i prefer(for example) John Petrucci."

Then the next guy will go "yeah!John P.'s great!i saw him live at yakaykaakyakyakaykyaakyak."

Then the next guy,then the next guy,then the thread becomes some other artist's appreciation threads.get me?
