All the local pleaz come in

Lol. I take the NEL too. Nothing's happened to me when I look into that station before. I always thought it's under construction or architectural evaluation kinda thing and not safe for public :S

My group once went to the Abandoned Estate at Yio Chu Kang area there, we made a short documentary of that place for Singapore Video Award, me being the host and other 3 being the video editor, cameraman and lightman.

Arrived at 5.45pm, the bus, only one bus sevice, only come every 30mins if I'm not wrong. There's an abandoned market, abandoned hawker stalls, abandoned playground and 3 eerie abandoned estates with block no 1,2 and 3.

1st incident:
we started the recordings at the hawker, I swear we smelt very fragrant aroma, like soap, me being addictive to sweet stuffs and of course at that time, being ignorant, went laughing around and joking about it. So, laughing and stuffs, I went to set up a tripod for the camera. No one touched it, no gust of wind nothing, it fell to the ground and got dragged several feet...

So all of us went pale white, one being a Muslim began to pray and we felt it goes away already, and we decided to move on..

2nd incident:
we carried on to record at the playground. Lighting was good, but the camera lighting looked so spooky (like 'The Ring' kind..), we recorded it, me talking about the history of the place and stuffs in front of the rocking chair, no it doesn't move..haha! But hell after we went for editing back in school, that chair moves kinda violently and there's one white piece of cloth or body at the top of the house. DAMN FREAKED US OUT!!

We managed to get it on camera, everything. Went to show it to our teacher. And she got so shocked, she told us to burn it and dispose it no matter what. we immediately got eliminated in the SVA. and we are worried sick that thing gonna be like in the movies. So we burned it...

I always wanted to go back there, but at the same time, reluctant too :???:
Anyone been there before?

You mean, while u were filming it, the chair doesnt move. But after u went back to school for editing, the chair is moving violently in the video recording?

there has to be a certain minimum population density in an area to justify the opening of a MRT station. basically means that if the place is ulu and nobody lives there, they are not gonna open the station, because running a mrt station costs money

the furniture moving sound is actually ghosts playing around. Not like those pontianak, but err hw say , just normal ghost lol...

We r not the only one living in this world.

thats wad my dad and teacher told me anyways.

poltergeists?

the govermwent doenst wanna lose money man hahas.at least buangkok was half develped..u cant put the blame on ghosts really..bt well we do know enough that a burial site wont ever be 'clean'.hehe ive heard my fair share of stuff during the exhuming of the site itslef..bt ill jus keep it as this it DID sound out of the norm.brr...

Maybe when the gahmen find ways to ensure that ghosts pay for their MRT rides, they'll open the station. The EZlink card's technology is too primitive for now... :p

same. i live on 12th floor. i always hear marbles dropping and furniture sound. WHY???!?!?!? (my friend say the marbles dropping is because the metal thing in ceiling contract then shrink then got those sound...) but what about FURNITURE SOUND!!!!????? AHHHHH

maybe got cleaner live on top? hehe

or maybe the sound travels from bottom to up through the cement

it's quite abnormal..... and it happens to my friends as well... and why should people move their furnitures at midnight...

i don't see why not , i move my stuff around in the middle of the night sometimes cause thats when i have time to clean up my room

ya... it's quite normal for one person to move at midnight.. but it's abnormal for my friend's and my neighbours to move furniture in the same night.

vocalistman...blk 1,2 and 3 ??? yio chu kang ??

I know of such estate only at Lim Chu Kang Road..off Neo Tio Road...after the Lim Chu Kang cemetery...

I grew up there..30 yrs ago, Malays called it Kampong Bray..
Never encounter such incidents as described by vocalistman..
Fantastic greenery view..

I've been living in Potong Pasir since 27 years ago, so I know very much about the MRT between Potong Pasir and Serangoon Station. The station is called Woodleigh Station and reasons SMRT do not want to open it up is because of "what they said" waiting for future development. That particular station is built on burial grounds. Let me ask you this.

Do you believe the caretaker have taken out all the corpse COMPLETELY?
The Bidadari "Cementery" is still there (at night only), but in broad daylight it looks like a park. There is still some or most of corpse there beneath the grounds. Serious. Come at night and explore the place thus you'll get your answer to why the Woodleigh Station is not open. And I believe it'll never be open.

If however some company decided to make a condominium on the burial site. Guess who'll stay in for most of the nights.

Recently I've passed by there late at night and the smell of frangipani is still strong and the howls of the dogs is heard. A white lady is seen beside a tree looking at me.

Check it out.

alright man, so as u said, its truely which there have ghosts la? btw what is Bidadari and frangipani ?

the moving of chairs pretty common... and the marbles too...

a scary story... a colleague of mine reached home pretty late one day. he reached home and opened the door to see his niece watching tv,sitting like 2 feet infront of it.

the best part is the tv was off. he asked her to go slp but she said no.
she said "i just now saw a lady in white on tv, she calling me"

my frd straight away carried her to her bed. he shwored and slp
