okay if we're gonna convert this thread to a ghost story thread, i'm gonna start the ball rolling by asking for good "haunted" spots in singapore.

recently, my friends and i have been looking for some nice spots to visit/explore at night. the last place we've been to was the hillview mansion, which was actually demolished in 2004 (but silly me didn't find more information before making the trip)

so any other recommendations?
no red house or changi hospital please, that's too far from where i stay. looking for somewhere closer to the west

Too tired to care but once i lived at the top level of my block (20th storey) and i heard marble and furniture sounds on the ceiling.

Hmm... Maybe cos they saw this thread and decided to try scare other people who might have possibly read it

I wanna try! Move the 4 person sofa by dragging, or even better, bang on the wall connected to your neighbour's house at 3am in the morning! (The separation wall) and if he asks you the next day... "No, I sleep at 10!"

same. i live on 12th floor. i always hear marbles dropping and furniture sound. WHY???!?!?!? (my friend say the marbles dropping is because the metal thing in ceiling contract then shrink then got those sound...) but what about FURNITURE SOUND!!!!????? AHHHHH

Has to do with the pipes and plumbing stuffs if I'm not wrong. Google up marble sounds or something and you find it... Someone actually wrote in to ST forum i guess...

However am unable to access some of the websites as they are reported to be unsafe

This is true.It is actually the sound of amplified water droplets.

Lots of what you hear has to do with Science.

There is a house just off Meyer Road near Mountbatten Road. It looks like a haunted house out of the movies. Dead leaves cover the whole yard, it is completely abandoned, there is a SHED. A BLOODY SHED (which we theorised could hold dead bodies) and its a single story house.

But the next week me and my friend explored it. It's scary the first time especially opening the shed and entering each room, but there was nothing much. Super fun experience though.

But if any of you decide to go there be careful, cops patrol that area very intensively, and them seeing you climbing into an old house would land you into a little bit of trouble.
