Myner bro, good on ya and we're so happy to have fellows like you who volunteer to share... this shows softies less and less shy to share ... :mrgreen:
To update, da "METAL" Xchange is happening THIS WEEK!!!! \m/
Trust some of u had a great time last week headbanging and soaking in the storm at Dream Theatre!!!
Andddddd... I just wanted to make sure we confirmed it before announcing (we've been holding back on this for weeks) ....we are proud to announce that Brandon Khoo (Aphelion, The UneXpected) will be at the 10th Soft Drum Xchange to share and hangout with us!!!
We also reach out to a few other sg metal drummers, but saturdays are usually difficult to coordinate, shahril (ossuary) could not make it for this one, some of his fellow brethren couldn't too. Hopefully in a future meetup... (we tried to invite drummers who have played with impiety but very hard to contact, mobile phone no. change etc. - many thanks to hairul (shred5) for helping with this, much appreciated!)
That said, its great that brandon is able to squeeze in some time from work schedule to come, knowing the difficulties and logistics issues that arise.
a couple more things to add:-
- a METAL Xchange is a good time to remind all softies to BRING YOUR EARPLUGS !!! Beware as the decibel levels is gonna be loud ('n' rocking of course)
- think about what questions you're gonna ask at the meetup

of course, we're not expecting him to present an item or share some educational segment or something like that (too late to plan a time slot for him also) but even if he's too busy, if he has free time let him know he's more than welcome to drop by and hangout!
the impiety drummers i wanted to invite also included the ones who played from '01-'03. i did recall i heard from some friends that one of them mentored meza virs drummer tjinn. that reminds me, i lost touch wif tjinn too. wish i can get hold of him one of these days, he's another great guy and power metal drummer.
there's so many more.. recently i went up to JB to gig and met global chaos current drummer salihin, kalai (he was the drum specialist in swee lee bras brasah drums dept until recently) is another guy i respect for his super clean chops and metal creativity.
its so difficult to coordinate timing, we'll just have to plan a time and hope eventually some of the guys can make it some of the time...

Hi Caijunlong!
I totally don't mind bringing the pedals man. But right now got some issues. Just found out that I've got lessons from 2:30pm that day. So I'm gonna leave early. It'll be good if there's someone who's willing to keep it for me ?
Another alternative is that I rush down from sch which will end @ 5 to get my pedals after the meet up, but I still need someone who can keep it for me for the time being as I will take probably about 30 mins down to Ulu Pandan.
So any volunteers?
