Raistmar, it's never too early to make a couple friends that share the same interest eh? so i'd say just go for it. anyway, the meet ups are not for just beginners or just advanced drummers. there's always something you can learn, something new, or at least someone new to meet. if you're open-minded, you'll have a good time, so do check it out.

Yes of course you should try your best to go to the DXS Meetup especially when you're New into drumming. This is adviceable, so you can see for yourself, listen and expose yourself to all the different style of Drumming by the Various Drummers here who have their own personal-style of playing - to widen our very own perspective on the area of drumming. Be open and adopt what you love best.

PS: - Marc is one drumming Bro here that came to the Xchange like you when he was New To Drumming (I saw and heard him play) - Today, everyone would have to agree - he plays so much better from the 1st time we meet him (10 months already ago) - Comming to Meetup does helps as it expose us to more things in Drumming and most important - - It Inspire Us To Drum Better - Without Inspiration - Where do we have the drive to push ourself forward towards improvement - DXS Meetup serve this purpose well and - - Most importantly - It build & foster better relationship among us drummers in Singapore...
