[WTA] EQ Pedals

1st off i am a bass player and the guitarist in the band bday is coming soon and we wanted to get something for him.

we tot a decent EQ pedal works, MXR 10-band kerry king, any idea where i can get my hands on this and price check as well.

if its not available locally, what is the next best alternative?

cos he is suck at finding the tone he like and i think some form of EQ would help him tons. i think lah.

mxr kerry king is available at blackwood. hmm..$230 i think. myself thinking of buying the normal mxr 10band eq.

EHX Tube EQ! It works! Haha.. For the MXR I thought there ain't a diff between the Kerry King version and the normal one?

Can get the said pedal at Blackwood, perhaps Ranking and perhaps Music Theme.. They sometimes happen to have stocks of MXR pedals..

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, you can get a Danelectro Fish N Chips, 7-Band. Available at TYMC.

i think i saw the eq-10 selling cheaper at davis.. like $199 or smth..

I don't see the need to get the Kerry King one. I think the normal one works well enough, IMO, and definitely saves you the extra cash.
