yeah...different people have different preference..Anyway...all of the bands rawk and i can't wait to watch the finals this friday..~!
But serious shit..I have never seen any reggae bands joining a band competition..It has always been metal, hardcore,punkrawk,rock..blablablla..Everybody trying to be a super good drumer or guitarist or wateva wif the technical stuff.. Too much of those stuff can ruin a song,noe.. Thats just my point of view..
And if Shine do win this one, in a way they are bringing in something 'new' to the competition..

my vote is for absence of the sacred!

c_cilik...remember what i said..its a a WORLD band competition...REPRESENTING singapore...for ur info its quite technical to play reggae music. Not easy man..haha. The band that will impress me with their originality will win my VOTE. And sadly, Shine does not impress me with that other than their excellent performance(tightness, dynamics etc).

ok...represent spore?how does hardcore,rock,metal represent spore u tell me?isnt it the same as reggae..All those music doesnt originate from spore anyway..hmm..and Shine play Island music...and hey...wat do u noe? Singapore is an Island..oh ya...u guys forgot rite?hahahaha..

Pardon moi for acting a fool, but what about the other countrys' competitors? where can i get info abt them?
i think De-Ataq has very good potential, they got really nice original very catchy tunes, but they really need guidance on their image. Other than that these guys rock. They got good guitarist, drummer, vocalist and bassist. Its sad to see them got out of the Final yesterday but don't give up guys you can only get better. Miracles don't happen, u guys need more practice. Hope to see u guys again. Please broadcast your next gig or competition.
well i think the results were pretty ok coz seriously project ultrasound was really good technically and originality. However am not too sure bout Shine though perhaps it's quite refreshing to see a reggea band but they really need to do more original. Otherwise they will be out during the national final am sure.
de-ataq was ok wat yesterday~!though the original sounds a lil bit like blink 182 and another band tune dat i wouldnt mention here..cos while u guys were playing..i was singing along to the song wif ur music..hehhee..but yeah...originals..I guess anyone can play anything and claim it to be their original song but when the bands play covers and do those cover songs justice..dats what i call talent~!And yeah~!I am super happy dat project ultra sound and shine got thru~!
