24May: THE END OF GASHAUS: Closing Party

Yo Mark! Damn dats some news! I wrote something, and im gonna dedicate it for Gashaus, will bring it to u before 24th, hope u can play it during the party too! Been a nice host for us Jrockers i must say. We luv ya lots!!!!

wow closing down oh man how sad De-Ataq will never forget that place we had our very first gig over there thanks to Saito for hooking us up with Keith. Ever since then we never look back think we played for at least 7 or 8 times over there not including the WBOB. Sigh..........sad to see that place go but nonetheless i will be there. Although we are now called Highway Storm the memories of that place will live on forever in our hearts and in our minds. Keith, Saito and Darren have done a lot for us and we are forever grateful. Gashaus will be remembered always.

this is so sad...long ago there was youthpark...then substation...then gashaus...and now...where else? those who have money $$$...quik go n open a place for local gigs...confirm make a lot of money....

anyway...Gashaus...me n my bands also have a lot of memories there...and RedBar...sounds like u guys gonna focus more on dance club rather than live music...this sux...but all the best though...who knows i mite b coming there to hitch gerls...haha...and rnb is cool...

Keith u rock!!! Luke, although u look like Mike Portnoy..but ur attitude at times is totally the opposite of him...

Ah well. REDBAR sucks. I remember many fond times in the Gas Haus, especially with the Gas Haus crew. Riz, Luke, Mark, Keith, Munky, etc. It was already sad when Keith was no longer in the bar, and now the situation seems to have gotten really dire.

What mainly bothers me about the change is that The Gas Haus is no longer retaining it's DIY-scene atmosphere that it once had. I guess the profit margins weren't met...money does make the world go around I suppose.
