I believe the red refers to capacitors.

The blue should be solder to the back of the pot (or to the side, whichever you prefer) and then solder to ground. It's schematically the same as the same lug for the tone pots if you notice.

capacitors are those in green m i rite?? also, hw do i the grounding?? to where?? cos it says tat "solder all ground together, make sure all parts are grounded"..and there all alot of ground in the diagram. im a completely idoit when it comes to electronics...

Straight forward bro,

HOT from neck to Lug A of Vol pot 1. Centre lug to outer-most lug of Pickup selector. Remaining lug of Vol pot 1 goes to ground. Lug A on Vol pot 1 goes to capacitor which goes to centre lug of Tone pot 1. Outer-most lug on Tone pot 1 goes to ground(back of the tone pot)

Repeat for bridge pickup.

Btw the diagram is for a gibson style 3way switch. the fender style ones will require you to solder a few of the lugs to each other.

All grounds go to the tone pots, then solder one wire connecting all grounds to your trem claw, or base of bridge if yours is a fixed bridge.

bro dric does it mean that all the ground wire i solder them all to either 1 back of the tone pot?? then join another wire to the grounding wire from the bridge??

It's best if you can learn from someone or pay someone to solder and demonstrate how to do it in the process. Remember, bad solder joints can also contribute to bad tone!

thanks for all the advice appreciate them..but what abt all the grounds?? do i solder all the ground wire to juz the back of 1 tone pot then solder another wire to my bridge???
