I particularly liked the following, based on certain albums

- Wes Montgomery in The Amazing Jazz Guitar of Wes Montogmery
- Jaco Pastorious in his self titled album
- Mike Bloomfield in the Paul Butterfield's Blues Band
- Carlos Santana in Blues for Salvador

I also like some work of Mike Stern, Rory Gallagher and Robben Ford's playing is always beautiful.
