Which amplifier suits best?

hello, does anyone know which amplifier suits best for a bc rich mid-level kerry king wartribe? there's vox, roland, laney, etc. but seriously, which one suits best?

its not a matter of which brand of geetar suit which brand of amp...

any geetar will suit any amp when plugged in and amplified electric geetar sound when you play the instrument.

There are many many brand of amps around, but which one is the most suitable for the geetar, will lies with what YOU want to hear/have in the features of the amp/budget etc

Budget's around $300-$400. yeah, i know i've to try the amp, but would you guys recommend any? I'm looking for an overdrive with a 'crunch'. I don't really know the difference between a laney and a vox. Both boast good sound, but i've read the reviews on the vox and it isn't too good. Help please? thanks!

Oh, and i've got this problem with the kkw wartribe. i played it through a marshall mg15 series (not a mini stack) and it sounded so crap. There isn't much treble response but the sustain for the bass is good. Is it a pickup problem? Others have said that playing through the mg series is bad. what's your take on that?

As said before, always try. The marshall mini fullstacks are worth the money, so is the vox valvetronix series. I've tried both, and liked them, but it's still up to you.

I find the Ibanez Tone Blaster X series to be a good all-rounder amp, but it may or may not be ideal for you. So do a thorough trying of the amps you have in mind.

Tone Blaster X 30R costs $350 list (before discount) at Sweelee iirc.

Ask yourself this: Is your sound defined by your gear? Or is your gear defined by your sound?

guys i think he just need some recommendations for that budget range...
shouldn't be too long a list

cheers

sound defined by gear, the wartribe that i've played throught the marshall mg series sounds bad, that's why i thought of having a change of amps. is the laney XXX good? i went to sweelee at sims drive and they carry it, but i haven't been to the downtown showroom at bras basah

That's exactly my point. Do you want to achieve a certain sort of sound, or do you want your sound to be produced by the kind of gear you currently own? Why does the MG sound bad? What kind of sound do you want to attain?

Looking at your gear, it sound to me like you're aiming for a metal tone. What's wrong with your current tone?

The tone now sounds like a low treble/middle range response, even if the eq is tweaked to the max, the bass is dull, even though the sustain is there. i would really like an amp which allows the kkw to shine through. I don't know why it sounds like that on the mg, the sound i might wanna get could be crunchy yet not to the extend of an insane full gain metal sound. I also have a samick gb sig, it sounds better on the mg though, leading me to think that the kkw has some pickup problem.
