Seriously, have you seen the videos of this guitar on youtube? Its hilarious. And have you seen the "luthier's" other V guitar? The one that had paint/finish on it that looked awsome?

I don't think the inlays look good. Look closely - can you see the amount of filler used? That black outline around all the inlays. Then again, I suppose, for a 1k guitar, yeah, okay, fine...

Give it a shot and you'll realize you DO need more then what it seems to make a guitar from scratch.

Tools itself will set you back 400-500 bucks, and this is being conservative.

The icing on the cake has got to be the dog hairs and disgusting amount of crunk on the hardware.

And why was there Vaseline everywhere? Was he running his hand up and down something else besides the guitar neck?

Lol, not to mention the hardcase with foam that probably came out of an old sofa. But he did add corners on the case. lol.

It does make for a very interesting read, and possibly an insight on what some people are actually thinking.

Actually I think it isn't a prank, a few of them pooled 1k together to get this guy to make a guitar. He claimed that he could make an ESP custom style guitar for less than 1k.

And the seller has previous cases of fraud based on other non related stuff concerning car parts.
