TS.

I think what you wear on stage is one of the most important factors to a successful performance. Many performers tend to overlook this.

My suggestions:

Wear something that reflects your style, and also the music you're playing. If you're in a band, make sure the whole band's outfits match. Color tone is also important -- some colors do not look outstanding on stage. and please do not go barefooted. Baring your feet on stage is a form of disrespect to the audience, and also an implication of a I-dun-give-a-lovelovelovelove attitude.

Surely...
you must be spewing out of your peehole(?)

Priority checklist on deciding attire:

1 - Something that won't restrict you from playing your instrument
2 - Something that doesn't restrict movement (eg. if you can't lift your feet to step on a guitar pedal)
3 - Something that won't cook you within your own skin under the stage lights
4 - Something you want people to recall you by (eg. wearing cone bras = singapore's madonna, or nutcase)
5 - Something; Nudity isn't recommended (neither are cone bras, for that matter)

YOU might not be recommended to go nude. I totally would have no problem if Ling Kai or Inch Chua decided to do a gig au naturel. Just sayin'...
