What/who made u pick up the instrument of ur choice

jeremyrozario influenced me to take up the guitar when we were in sec 3.
wasn't really a serious guitarist and i found no kick in playing the guitar , juz spent only about 5 mins a day on my guitar which is really pathetic....

Maksim and Jay Chou influenced me to pick up the piano 2 years ago and so here i am now....The Rockstar Pianist!!!!

I picked it up back in the sec sch days when i was over at my friend's place, then, he was playing the classic sweet child o' mine intro on an acoustic. That pretty much kicked off the interest, then came along the discovery of shred in the form of Paul Gilbert, and the rest is history

Piano: My mom enter me to yamaha music school to learn electone (which then i moved on to piano after grade 5) in hope of making me a church organist. That's like 12 years ago.

Bass: Continues on from double bass. My band bassist's slapping techniques inspired me to take on the bass. Been slapping ever since.

Guitar: Being the only keyboardist in an all-guitarist circle of friends and watching the G3 concerts makes me want to take up the guitar .... Steve Vai and Eric Johnson are the ones who inspires me to take up guitar ... I made the decision after watching For The Love of God by Steve Vai.

i was impressed by ur bassist slapping techniques at the first Jazzpiration at the beach....
my fren even commented that his slapping technique is the so called "gun method" or smth like dat and not many people can do it....

i picked up the guitar because somebody was damn bloody arrogant.. he would play something.. and go up to my face and say "can u do this can u do this?! kennot right?!!!!1 hahaha" so yeah... i picked it up just because im pissed with someone..

Tom Morello, no doubt. My first real favourite rock band was Rage against the machine, eventhough i heard alot of metal before after i got RATM's album i knew i wanted to play guitar.

dont know what the technique called ... but he did that by copying louis johnson ... and that get me started in learning bass

den my aunt enrol me into yamaha classical course.. i stopped after 1 yr cuz clashes with school time.. alot of tuition back than
