Ok..the gear I use is in my sig..

I love the overdriven rhthym sound from my vox when set to UK 80s n then when I stepped on my behringer vintage tube OD pedal, the tone is awesome for leads ..but when come to jam/gig situation, wat pedal can work well with my behringer vintage tube OD pedal so tat I can do leads thru a clean amp? Hope to hear opinions..anyway, the behringer has the same sound as a SD-1 but more quieter IMO..: )

There are things that can work distortion in better ways than a DS1.

Consider the Marshall Guvnor and Jackhammer.

The Jackhammer especially with its impressive eq and loads of gain.

shredcow: i used to have a Jackhammer 7 yrs ago. i cant find a nice tone in it. Maybe at that time, i dont know how to tweak.

Out of all the new Marshall drive series, the Bluesbreaker is nice. Voiced a little dark but its works nices.

i got real nice tones from the jh1 but it was time for it to leave my board. it's a great pedal, u just need to sit down and really tweak it.

Bro,

Try Boss Digital Metalizer... Its really cool vintage drive sound with Chorus
built in... but its very rare to get now....

Boss Digital Metalizer is by far the worst sounding drive pedal ever from Boss. Stay away from it unless if you're a collector.

Bro, why not try a Fulltone DP-1 Distortion Pro? It's a really versatile distortion pedal man! Really good sounds!
