hey guys,i aint referin to davis. davis is reasonable. Im referin to some other store. major store. I dont wanna mention names cause it might be a wrong step to take yea.

my friend doenst wanna buy stuff from there anymore. he mentioned like due to the high prices and with its sales. when he's tryin to sell his guitar 2nd hand, buyers will always use the sales to bargain for a lower price. ticked him

My mum has always like wanted me to venture more into piano. but yea. didn't like it. Sight reading was just so bad and didnt feel as natural as the guitar. The guitar...can read tabs and play a tune almost instantly. piano got this and that and the "tao gehs"

Sorry to burst your bubble, boy. It's not guiltless. When you make your own money, you'll feel the pinch even more. When you eventally have a family of your own, then all the more you'll end up thinking harder about what you buy, and justifying it.

Spending parents money is the easiest, most guilt-free thing in the world. Just that getting it is a bit harder than having your own. But spending it? Heh... That's the easy bit.

This sounds like Swee Lee, and yet it doesn't. Since when do the larger stores take in your old guitars as trade ins?

So, which is it? Why be afraid to name the store? If you have valid cause, then by all means name it.

I think you should name the store if there's a valid cause.

Even if you got it wrong - at least you learn now. The shop wouldn't get its name tarnished.

But if the shop did mess up - hopefully this bad rep will get them to review and/or buck up.

no they dont take trade ins.
what i meant was that my friend bought his guitar from this store (which was mentioned correctly by someone, tryin to make it obvious), an epiphone Sg iommi signature (duh which store). And like in the process of selling, buyers kept using their sales to bargain and stuff, and you know that store sells stuff at high prices, really make big losses.

Anyway guys, let's say we do abit of boycotting, who's interested to ship in from the states? I read about vpost, seems really good. haha
