Overpriced piece of crap ^ thats why it's not popular!
The breaway angle is all wrong on that .... just 'whammy' the neck milkboi ;)

goose: why do you think i haven't bought a trem for my fixed bridge guitars yet? too happy going all bill frisell on them.

bro, i has a sad, not a trem...

maybe thats why i has a sad, cos i dont have an overpriiced trem on my stoptail guitarz... hmm :p

i know, anyway my morning fix havent kick in yet. its a slow morning... hurhur...

ok i think we o/t too far liaoz

the vibramate... hmm
personally
i was thinkin that it was a genius in first time

but after thinking about the rigidity...
sacrificing the other bolts that used to be an anchor to the body.. its ridiculous .. bigsby designed it using 4 or more bolts to prevent the tremolo from wobbling and moving.. to keep it rigid... so all of the bolts have to be anchored to the body :)
if using only 2 stud on the front as anchors .. it wont be stabilized .. the distribution of the force is not equal, especially on the back part where its actually need to be rigid, coz the pivot point is on that part.. so it wont have a long sustain like it was while using TOM and stop bar.

thats my personal opinion :)

goose has the point

have you personally played one?

I wonder if the rubber footings will disturb the finish... I understand that the rubber sound-hole (anti-feedback) covers for acoustic guitars can affect the finish of the guitar... Wonder if its the same case here.

@benster .. nope i havent try it..
its just my personal opinion looking at the construction :)

for the other vibramate model , this construction would be better than that:

there is an additional clamping/tail on the back of the bigsby and clamped to the strap button

and this is good too:

hehe i agree on these 2 model
