Hmm i got a way. and thats a method i do to "substitude" the kill switch thing.

if ure using lespaul that is. neck pickup volume 0. bridge 10(or anything u like).

i think works well. then play ard with ur toggle switch. thats wat i do though.

Dont try to do that if your les paul is an epiphone. it'll kill the switch.

ya.. i paly RATM.

the thingy abt t the killswitch is that.

1. must be les paul style( cos the toggle is light and slippery, transit timing is better, while the industrial one need more strength)

2. for EMG 81.. to ex to buy after all going to put on my experimentguitar only.

3.my guitar is a strato style already drill a hole.

4. but it only the wiring inside that is headache...

5, any tom morello fans here will notice that in some posted pic of his" Arm the homeless", ATH, the ball end of his string is at the end of the tunning peg.
how the hell did he do that?

any idea?

yes tom do the turn table scratch thingy..........in bulls on parade
i cannot make it the toggle swithing thingy so i just scratch my pick to the strings and do mutting in my left hand ................ its alternative hahahahahah but works done it

extremely simple to make a kill switch

juz need a on/off SPDT switch, less than $1

No man.. you need a Les Paul style toggle switch.. the SPDT toggles are too stiff to do the fast on/off/on/off thing.

hahahahahhah... the guitar is a double locking floyd rose equipt instrument. the strings are basically inserted the "other way round" with the ball-end sticking out and the plain end locked at the floyd trem end. u have to "run" the string from the "machine head first" then the trem. and remember to cut the end of the "wound strings" if the plain inner-core is sticking out.

get-it now?

hifi_killer: Haha im doing that to my Burny lespaul. If spoil, change another one ! LOL.

Aiya come to think of it, the switch is lose lose liao, makes it super easy to switch lol.

He uses alot of from digitech whammy pedal, boss tremolo, octave, wah pedal........

Correct me if im wrong.....

Anibody can add sum more.....

but problem with the les paul style toggle switch is that after 'some' usage, the switch becomes crackly, ok so theres a tradeoff

mini toggle switch, difficult to use, but dun haf to change so often

LP style switch, easy to use, but haf to change often

That might be true... but you can get a better quality LP toggle switch I believe...

Thing is, ppl want to do a fast tremolo effect.. with a mini toggle, you can only go so fast but with a LP toggle, its much faster...
