hey guys, i need to ask. i'm looking for replacement pickups for an aerodyne jazz. i'm looking at Duncan's Lightning Rods and the Pro Actives, but theyre active pups. and the aerodyne's obviously passive. however, its said that the Pro Actives have the same gain/output as passive pups.. should i just get an on-board preamp instead? Would the J-retro or the audere preamps fit onto an aerodyne? thanks!
