i wonder how those punksters hang their guitar so low....how the heck do u even play?

Well if ur playing rhythm using power chords alone all the way as majority of punk/punk rock songs are in, i don thing its much of a hassle to hang the guitar down low!

Precisely! Though other chords like 320033 (Don't know its name, lol) and stuff like that can be played easily though...

Hmm.

I sling low because I like Led Zep and The Darkness!

Low-slingers UNITE!!!

ok back to the topic. When people start slinging labels of 'poseur' at each other.. they frankly need to get a job and a life.

What is a 'poseur' anyway? Or even better: does it matter?

Do what you're comfy with and just get one with life...

Since the successful launch of the Aging Youth rice cooker amp, we've ventured into other aspects of our growing conglomerate like the silky, cotton white Aging Youth bikini thong (suitable for ages 5 and above) and the better than Teflon "flied lice" cooking wok. These are just 2 new things coming out of our stable.

Bro Grimbrody bro and bro thailoverboy bro, please get a grip on yourselves. Not that area, please! We are currently in negotiations with our bikini thong model... yesh, bro edder bro to be the face and literally, the butt of this exciting new product.

hanging low will usually mean that its harder to access the low strings, if you stress it might even damage your wrist permanently. So if you wanna sling your guitar at your knees its ok if your playing simple chords, root notes etc.

But for some people with long arms and legs say paul gilbert or the nirvana bassist then its more natural for them to sling it low.

having said that i still sling pretty low coz it looks cooler. as for slash, when he solos he bring the guitar up into a vertical position to help easier access the frets. its harder to play that way, but who cares...its cool

and the punk rockers = sling low, hair metal = sling low, progressive = high, well its actually kinda true la

can you imagine the blink 182 guys with their guitars up their chest or dream theater ppl slinging their guitars to their knees?

urmm..well the type of music really determines the way a person slings the guitar usually..but the way a person sling the guitar doesnt determine what a person plays..
